Horse riding camp on the Queen’s Birthday weekend – we have a jam packed long weekend of horse riding and fun coming up on 6 – 9 June 2014. Kids arrive on Friday after school for dinner together and get-to-know-you games. Saturday is arena assessments where everyone is given a horse to suit their riding ability and arena lessons. Sunday we enjoy trail rides and camp fire lunch and Monday is the gymkhana, a fun opportunity to use all the learned skills from the weekend.

School holiday activities for kids this Easter holidays.

CAMP DATES

5 – 12 April 2014

12 – 19 April 2014

Camp includes full accommodation and each child is given their own pony/horse to love, care for and ride twice a day. There are arena lessons, trail rides and a gymkhana.

Fun night activities include a night walk, camp fire with marshmallow roasting and stories, talent show, bingo/line dancing and movie night.

Children enjoy real outdoor fun, feeding the animals, collecting chicken eggs and milking the house cow……. a very happy, healthy holiday and an amazing opportunity to develop independence and create lifelong friendships and memories.

Horse riding camps have been awesome these holidays, we have a few Camp kids and Leader that have a word to share with everyone.

Jillian W: I love coming to Kiah Park to see my favourite horse Gerry! On the trail rides I really enjoy cantering up the big hills on Gerry and jumping over logs!

Ella S: I love coming to Kiah Park because I get to go horse riding on Playboy for 1 – 2 hours every morning and afternoon. I also love all the fun activities, yummy meals and helpful staff.

Courtney R: I love coming to Kiah Park because all of the trail rides are so fun and all of the staff are so nice and help you tack up your horse and all of the meals are so good.

Madi S (Leader): Being a Supervisor at Kiah Park is such a rewarding experience. I love the friendships we form with the kids over the week, watching them improve on their horse riding skills and growing in their character. Kiah Park is such a beautiful place with such a beautiful community!

Horse riding for children at Kiah Park Horse Riding Camp these Easter holidays, there are two weeks to choose from: 30 March – 6 April 2013 and 6 – 13 April 2013.

We are gearing up for our Easter holiday riding camps, after all the storms and rain we have experienced in January and February there is a lot of trail clearing and fence mending to be done! But on the positive side Kiah Park is looking absolutely beautiful, with lots of delicious lush green grass for the horses to eat.

Bookings are coming in fast and furious and we are looking forward to seeing our regular camp kids and meeting all the new kids that will be coming to horse ride. What a wonderful time it will be – Easter eggs, horse riding and heaps of fun! SEE YOU THERE!!

Horse riding and fun activities are happening at Kiah Park Horse Riding Camp these school holidays. Holiday activities will be held throughout the Christmas holidays from 1 December 2012 to 26 January 2013, with a 5 day break over Christmas for a breather! We are looking forward to lots of kids, lots horse riding and lots of fun and laughter.

School holiday horse riding camps have started at Kiah Park Horse Riding Camp, situated on the Sunshine Coast hinterland. How wonderful it is to see children enjoying the outdoors, bonding with their horses and laughing with their friends. We have two weeks with lots of horse riding and fun! Holiday Camps are for children ages 6yrs – teens and all riding abilities are welcome. Around 80% of our camp kids are from Brisbane and we have a bus service which picks up from Brisbane, Burpengary, Caboolture, Caloundra, Nambour and Cooroy. Happy holidays everyone!

Kiah Park is a fun camp where you can ride horses, participate in challenges and lots more. Kiah Park is on the Sunshine Coast hinterland close to Gympie and is owned by Nick and Tilana. Children are able to stay a week (or two – like me) in the school holidays and enjoy the fantastic food provided by the wonderful staff.

Kiah Park is the BEST horse riding camp on the planet!! There is Survivor, Gymkana, fun games and the best of all … HORSE RIDING with all the best and cutest horses. And all of this happens at a horse riding camp just 25 kms from Gympie and 45 kms from Noosa. I personally know that if you come to Kiah Park you will have an amazing time!!

We had a great time horse riding this week!!! We started riding our ponies on a beautiful trail going through the mountains and brightly coloured grass fields. We have all learned how to communicate with our ponies, as well as get to know their personalities. We had a fun time at the trot and canter spots and also learned how to control our horse’s canter. On the horse trails we saw amazing scenery with lots of creek crossings. We saw cows and butterflies. Horse riding at Kiah Park has been awesome!!!
